BRIDGEHAMPTON SCREENING
Following its world premiere in Official Competition at the Oscar® and BAFTA-qualifying Rhode Island International Film Festival, JUMPERS comes to Bridgehampton for a special screening during Hamptons Classic week — bringing the film into the heart of the equestrian community at the center of its story.
JUMPERS, directed by Naomi Sedgwick, is a 16-minute documentary film about rising equestrian athlete SKYLAR WIREMAN, who’s defying the odds in a sport where wealth often determines success. Skylar proves that her dreams are possible through a combination of hard work, talent, and her bond with her horse, Tornado. Filmed over the course of two years and three different countries, JUMPERS captures what it means for a young athlete to chase her Olympic dreams and how much she is willing to sacrifice in order to make it. The short film is a proof of concept for an expanded feature-length documentary, with a planned release to align with the LA 2028 Olympics.
Following the screening, guests are invited to an intimate reception at A Room at the Beach, just two blocks from the museum.
Joining us for both events? Please RSVP separately to the screening and reception using the respective links.
